Happy Mother's Day!

A mother's love cannot be measured, it is priceless

Wow, what a great day! Today is a special day for me(you too), because it's Mother's Day! On this very day, every child gives presents, hugs, kisses, meals.....to their mom. Well, my church also had this Mother's Day celebration and some children(young men and women) gave their parents flowers(and beautiful presents too) and even made life testimonials about how their mom(father also) has nurtured them, until they have grown up and become a good child . A few cried. It was really touching. A drama was also presented during the service to let the young generations learn the love of mother towards them and what should we do to obey as well as to honor our mother.

Well, I went up to the stage too and said a few words, invited my siblings up and gave my mom a flower. For me, this flower is just a small present for thanking my mother over her hard work of bringing us up and taking care of us when we are in times of difficulties or sickness. It also represents the one BIG love(Three love combined) that me and my siblings have for my mom. The most important thing is that it doesn't matter how big or expensive the present is, what really matters is our heart. God asked us to honor our parents, it is His Word in the Bible. "Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother" - which is the first commandment with a promise - "that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth." " (Ephesians 6:1-3) We as children must obey our parents everyday and not during special occasions only. "Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord." (Colossians 3:20)

On this special day, we thank God for the mothers who have molded our hearts. As we honor them, we fulfill the truth of Proverbs 31:28, "Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her."

Last but not least,

Happy Mother's Day to all mothers out there!
